Privacy Policy

Last updated October 5, 2026

This policy explains what the Mindful app ("Mindful", "we") collects, why, and the choices you have. Mindful is published by PE Yalovenko Vladyslav. In short: there's no account, what you write stays on your iPhone, and we only collect anonymous usage data that we can't link to you.

What stays on your device

These are stored on your iPhone (and in an App Group shared with Mindful's widgets). We don't receive them:

Mindful doesn't sync this data to iCloud or to our servers. If you delete the app, it's deleted.

App Lock and Screen Time

App Lock uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks (Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity). The apps you pick are stored as private tokens that only iOS can read. We can't see which apps you picked or how long you use them, and this information never leaves your device.

Anonymous usage analytics

To understand which features help, Mindful sends anonymous product events, such as "breathing ritual finished" or "widget added", to our analytics provider PostHog. These events:

You can turn this off any time in Mindful, My space, Share anonymous usage.

Purchases

Apple processes all payments. We never see your card or payment details. To manage Mindful Plus, we use RevenueCat, which receives your App Store purchase receipts and a random app user ID so it can confirm that your subscription is active. Read RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone as local notifications. We don't use push notification servers.

Children

Mindful isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK or California), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to object to its use. Because the data we receive is anonymous, we usually can't tie it to you, but write to us and we'll do what we can. You can also turn off analytics in the app at any time.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your data, we'll tell you in the app.
